The Challenge

How to Enter
#NamasteWorld

Five simple steps. One powerful cultural statement. The most shareable challenge ever created for the Indian diaspora.

01

Record Your Greeting Contrast

Start your video with any Western greeting you use in your daily life — 'Hey!', 'What's up?', 'Yo!', 'G'day!'. This is the contrast that makes the transformation so powerful.

Pro Tip: Keep it authentic. The more real your Western greeting, the more powerful your Namaste transformation will be.
02

The Namaste Transformation

After a dramatic pause, transition to your most beautiful, personal Namaste. This is YOUR Namaste — the one you learned from your family, your culture, your heart. Make it count.

Pro Tip: Add context if you like — your location, your family's origin, what Namaste means to you personally.
03

Post with #NamasteWorld

Upload your video to TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts. Use the hashtag #NamasteWorld in your caption. Tag @Indianness_org to ensure we see it.

Pro Tip: The best time to post is 6–9pm in your local timezone for maximum reach.
04

Nominate 3 Friends

Tag 3 friends in your post and challenge them to share their Namaste within 48 hours. This is how we build the global wave — one nomination at a time.

Pro Tip: Nominate friends from different countries or backgrounds for maximum cultural impact.
05

Community Voting

During weeks 7–8, the community votes for the most creative, emotional, and authentic submissions. Finalists are announced and the global vote begins.

Pro Tip: Share your submission link widely — every vote counts toward the grand prize.
